His name was Ben and his grades were average
But the moon takes flight and he’s ready to fight
In school he’s no kind of maverick
But night comes round and he’s good with an ice pick
its never touched ice suffice it to say he’s never thought twice
To cut off a slice of the dirty little bustards that creep in the night
Yes he’s there to hard hit people mugging your mothers and kids
He’s a real life super hero you see
With one foot stepped just outside of reality
But it’s a lonely life for Ben
As it is with all superhero men
just wait till you see what he did then
He says I need to feel my heart beating its strange
As well as living in a place where I feel safe
that’s why I’m always going to be a vigilante
Ill either die or kill anyone who tries to stop me
So as the sun sets Ben is changing his clothes
to his secret identity and sets off down the road
For he’s seen in the paper a robbery
Painted with signs of his arch enemy
Now I feel at this point I should say that
Ben is a man who is stuck into his ways
He has no computer no telephone
Still lives with his mum reading comics alone
But he’s determined in this case and with all his might
Jumps on his push bike and sets off into the night
He’s looking for his enemies lair
Because he knows he’ll find justice in there
and that he wants to make things fair

With Ben only just making it through
but with one dead and the other one bleeding
Ben cycles home and carried on reading his comics

Its a busy night and your down the town
in the pub getting a lot of pre-drinking down
and your spending a lot on this hectic night
with your friends trying hard to avoid a fight
and its really hot and its really bland
because the A/C's crap but the gig is loud
and their just starting up but you can tell their good
with the shirts and their names printed on the hoods
it's obvious not its plain to see
that you'll be drunk by the end
and you will stumble across an all right girl
who looks much better in the dark
you approach her and ask her for her number
but you cant seem to get a an answer
its probably coz the music's to loud
so you walk off for another round
and by the end of the night you can't see straight
it ruins your chances to fornicate
with the opposite sex
